Why does it cost 3 credits to extract data from a custom template, but only 1 credit from an invoice or receipt?
Invoices and receipts use universally recognized fields that require little processing power to identify and extract data from. When extracting data from a custom template, SmartDocumentor requires additional processing resources to process data from fields it didn't receive as much training to correctly identify, which translates to an additional usage of Microsoft Azure AI Services.

Anonymization
How much does the anonymization of a single document cost?
The cost of anonymizing a single document depends on the plan you subscribed to. Plans vary according to the volume of documents you need to process, and the larger the volume, the less expensive it is to process a single document. Visit SmartDocumentor's Pricing section to learn more.
How long does it take to anonymize a document?
Data anonymization takes less than a minute, regardless of the number of fields you want to anonymize. The type and size of document may slightly impact this time.
Does SmartDocumentor extract the data it anonymizes?
No. SmartDocumentor's data anonymization module is separate from its data extraction module, so neither process is performed at the same time. SmartDocumentor has the Invoices and Receipts module dedicated to extracting data from and the Custom Templates module where you can train it to extract data from any other type of document.
Why doesn’t SmartDocumentor detect a field I want to anonymize? What can I do?
SmartDocumentor only automatically anonymizes data from an extensive list of fields it’s trained on. If you want to anonymize a field SmartDocumentor still isn’t trained on, you can use the manual anonymization tool in that field during the reviewing process.
Does SmartDocumentor store data from the fields it anonymizes?
No, SmartDocumentor does not store any data during the anonymization process.
Does SmartDocumentor store the original documents and images clients submit for anonymization?
Documents and images are kept in SmartDocumentor for at least 31 days before deletion. Clients can go to a workspace’s settings and change this period to up to 180 days. They can also choose to delete a document immediately after reviewing and exporting it. Only the client has access to these documents and images.
Transcriptions
How much does a minute of audio transcription cost?
The cost to transcribe audio depends on the plan you subscribed to. Plans vary according to the number of hours you need to transcribe and the more hours you have in your plan, the lower will be the cost per minute. Visit SmartDocumentor's Pricing section to learn more.
Is it more expensive to transcribe text from a video file?
Transcribing 1 minute of audio takes SmartDocumentor about 1 minute.
How many languages does SmartDocumentor support?
SmartDocumentor's transcription currently supports 5 languages: Portuguese(pt-PT), English(en-US), French(fr-FR), German(de-DE) and Spanish(es-ES). Support for more languages will be available soon.
Which output text formats does SmartDocumentor support?
SmartDocumentor can export transcribed text as a .docx file. More formats will be available soon.
Does SmartDocumentor recognize multiple speakers?
SmartDocumentor recognizes pauses during a dialogue, but currently it can't automatically identify who's speaking. That feature will be available soon.

Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments using credit card (via Stripe checkout), PayPal or bank transfer.
Can credits purchased under receipts & invoices be used to transcribe audio?
Yes, the credits can be used interchangeably between all services provided by SmartDocumentor.
Can I transfer unused credits from one account to another?
No. Credits are locked to the user’s account and can’t be transferred to other users’ accounts.
Can you issue an invoice for my purchase?
Yes. An invoice is issued for every purchase containing the information and sent to the email address used during the checkout.
